Every Outreach of the Houston Dream Center is made possible through the generosity of our wonderful friends & partners, public & private who generously give and support through the donation of monies, food, clothing and various supplies.

The Houston Dream Center , a faith-based 501(c3) nonprofit organization, that strives to shed hope, mercy and love to the unfortunate. We realize it is important to help the helpless, the hungry and the hurting. Our aim is to offer a helping hand to men, women and children experiencing pain and difficult situations in the city of Houston, Texas and surrounding communities.
MISSION: To make dynamic impact in the lives of individuals and families allowing them to reach their full potential, primarily through conducting community outreach initiatives and programs facilitated by committed staff and volunteers and strengthen the mind, body and spirit.
VISION: To be a part of a collaborative effort to solve moral decay, crime, substance abuse, gang violence, chronic homelessness and poverty epidemics that exist in the city of Houston, Texas. Through this effort, we would like to see dreams birthed, destinies searched and miracles made possible in the lives of individuals and families.

Rosalind Rolls graduated from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Business. Following graduation, Rosalind worked in advertising and marketing before transitioning into the nonprofit sector. Rosalind has worked in the nonprofit sector for seven years. In 2009, she earned a Master of Social Work degree. That year, Rosalind also became a Licensed Master Social Worker. Rosalinds passion is to help community- and faith-based organizations be more effective and efficient in fulfilling their mission.

Sr. Pastor Rod Larkins , a graduate of United Christian College and Global University, founded the Houston Dream Center in 2006. He has served on several boards of churches and ministries as well as on the Board of Directors for the YMCA. He has travelled all over the world with a vision to impact families and individuals as well as local communities. He is a strong advocate for the strengthening of existing community development organizations and is a voice to encourage new community development efforts.

VOLUNTEERING
Does your company have a corporate volunteer program? Do you encourage your employees to get involved in the community? Take the opportunity to share your time and talents in a meaningful way by volunteering at The Dream Center where there is always something to do! Opportunities include improvement projects, outreaches that feed the homeless, provide medical or educational support services, as well as special events.
GIFTS-IN-KIND
In-kind donations of home furnishings, appliances, toiletries and cleaning supplies help keep The Dream Centers costs at a minimum while providing basic needs to those in the community that need them most. These donations allow us stretch our dollars and to focus our finances on the increasing needs of the programs and their participants.
GRANT FUNDING
The Dream Center is a 501c3 with programs and services that often fit the focus of corporate giving programs. There is the opportunity for corporate partners to support long-term projects.
EVENT SPONSORSHIP
The Dream Center has been providing Easter baskets, backpacks filled with school supplies, holiday dinners and Christmas presents for the less fortunate. Please contact us if your company would like to assist with one of these special giving event opportunities.
